Let’s get one thing straight: the air in India right now is bad.
And I don’t mean Delhi-in-November bad — I mean everywhere bad.
Most of us assume Tier-1 cities like Delhi, Pune, Kolkata are the only ones suffering, but after doing my own research (because I thought this was all hype), I realized the truth is far worse.
I started logging AQIs from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities across India, then compared them with AQIs from major cities in developed countries. And honestly, the results shocked me. Turns out, almost every city in India is breathing unhealthy air.
Remember when our parents told us smoking is bad?
Well, someone needs to tell them that simply breathing in India these days is equivalent to smoking too — except we don’t even get the courtesy of a cigarette break.
I’ve even calculated how many “cigarettes” we’re basically inhaling per day just by existing, and I'll put those findings in the images below.
If we don’t seriously act — as citizens and through our leaders — things will only get worse.
But that’s a long-term fight, and it’s a massive one.
Right now, the least we can do is protect our health indoors.
That’s why I’m recommending a budget-friendly air purifier that actually works:
the Levoit Core Mini.
Simple — it does the job without drama.
If you care about your health and don't want to burn a hole in your pocket, the Levoit Core Mini is a solid choice.
It won’t fix India’s pollution crisis,
but it will make sure the air inside your room isn’t trying to kill you.
